From her trademark opening dance routine (the girl can bust a move) to her infectious laughter, MizT knows how to bring “the funny” with ferocity and freshness to her audiences.

MizT is a seasoned comedienne, as demonstrated on her nationally-available comedy CD, Back at ‘Ya, Lord! (her debut recording) and a forthcoming DVD release. She has shared her comedy primarily within the Central Texas area, but has been making inroads nationally in selected cities across the United States. She brings laughter in churches, at banquets, and any other place with a microphone and set of speakers. She does it all in a clean, family-and-kid-friendly manner that’s pleasing to all.

She is a triple threat as an entertainer: not only can she bring laughs, but she is an accomplished emcee (MC) and can also blow the house down with her powerful musical vocals.

When not on stage or behind a mic, MizT can be found in the person of Tranea (pronounced truh-NAY) Prosser, a native of Austin, TX. She is the oldest child (and favorite daughter) of Harvey (deceased) and Faye Prosser. She has one brother, Harvey II, a resident of Houston, TX.

Tranea is the mother of two grown sons, Aubre and Detren, and is grandmother to her little “Chocolate Chip”

Music has always been a part of Tranea’s life. Following in the footsteps of her father, a member of the Soul Savers quartet, and her mother, a great gospel vocalist and minister of music, Tranea has sung in a choir for as long as she can remember. She serves as Praise and Worship leader at her current church home, Freedom Home Baptist Church of Austin, TX.

When asked about her style of comedy, Tranea says, “It’s rated ‘I’ for the Innocent. I’ve been given a great gift by God, and it is a joy to share it. I bless God for allowing me to carry and minister such awesome gifts.”
